Jacques Pellarin (Composer/Accordionist) and Chris Orazi have been collaborating on both sides of the Atlantic for over 10 years. They became friends through online communication and were drawn to one another’s music. Eventually, Chris found the perfect piece to bring them together, Mushroom Hill from the Dream Taxi album. He sent the tracks to France and Jacques responded with the most beautiful pastoral recorded performance. Shortly after that project, The Jacques Pellarin trio visited the US for the first time and recorded at Chris’ C.A.S. Music Productions studio. On that tour, they performed gigs in Philadelphia, PA and throughout southern New Jersey. That set the stage for the numerous return trips and years of friendship. Projects have included the following releases: Squeezy Lounge (contemporary lounge), more Avenue C records and singles, Jac and Co albums (Jacques and Corrine) and Jacques Pellarin releases.
Jacques Pellarin and Chris Orazi continue to collaborate. Future compositions, recordings and performances are always on the horizon, celebrating synergy across the sea. Pres De Vous!!
